I’m putting together a run of news stories focused on environmental issues for an Arabic-language digital outlet and would like an experienced writer-editor to polish them to newsroom quality. I’ll supply background notes, interview transcripts, and my own early drafts; you tighten the structure, verify facts, sharpen the lead, and ensure the language flows naturally for an online readership.

My own background is in mass communication (B.A., M.A. in Environmental Media, now a Ph.D. researcher), and I’m currently training at Ru’yat Watan News. Because I already have the reporting angle covered, what I need from you is clean, concise copy that adheres to standard journalistic style, maintains objectivity, and presents complex environmental topics in an accessible way.

Deliverables
• Final news article in Word or Google Docs, complete with headline and sub-head
• Brief fact-check or source list for any statistics or quotations you add
• One round of revisions after my feedback

Acceptance criteria
• Story length approx. 600–800 words unless otherwise noted in the brief
• Clear, engaging lead within the first 25 words
• All facts attributed to reliable sources; quotations accurately rendered
• Proofread and free of spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors

I may extend the collaboration to features or opinion pieces later, but for now the assignment is strictly news-style articles on environmental topics. If this aligns with your skills and schedule, let’s get started.
