## Project Overview

We have outsourced the development of a WordPress website to showcase a collection of **PET acoustic panels** for commercial and residential interiors. The **UI/UX design is complete in Figma**, and the site is being built in WordPress (likely with Elementor Pro and ACF).

We need an experienced **WordPress QA freelancer** to:

- Quality-check the **WordPress implementation** (structure, performance, responsiveness, content editing experience).
- Verify **UI fidelity** against the Figma designs (layout, typography, spacing, states, responsiveness).
- Provide a clear, actionable QA report with screenshots and prioritized issues.

This is a **short-term, project-based role** with potential for ongoing QA work on future pages or microsites.

## Scope of Work

### 1. Figma → WordPress UI QA

- Compare the live/staging WordPress site against the provided Figma designs.
- Check for **pixel accuracy** in:
- Layout and grid alignment
- Typography (font family, size, weight, line-height, letter-spacing)
- Colors and gradients
- Spacing and padding/margins
- Images, icons, and SVGs
- Buttons, cards, sections, and other components
- Verify **responsive behavior** across:
- Desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints as defined in Figma
- Common browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (iOS/Android)
- Validate **interaction states**:
- Hover, active, focus states for buttons, links, form fields
- Menu states (open/close, mobile menu)
- Any animations or transitions specified in Figma

### 2. WordPress Implementation QA

- Review overall **site structure**:
- Page templates, headers, footers, global elements
- Use of reusable blocks/components where appropriate
- Check **content editing experience** in WordPress:
- Ease of updating text, images, colors, and panel collections
- Proper use of ACF fields (if applicable) for product data
- No broken layouts when content is edited by non-technical users
- Basic **performance checks**:
- Page load times on desktop and mobile (using tools like PageSpeed Insights or Lighthouse)
- Image optimization (correct formats, sizes, compression)
- Caching and minification setup (if within scope)
- Basic **SEO & technical checks**:
- Proper heading hierarchy (H1–H6)
- Meta titles/descriptions editable
- Clean URLs and breadcrumbs (if part of design)
- Schema markup (if specified in design/requirements)
- **Cross-browser & device testing**:
- Identify rendering issues on major browsers and devices
- Note any CSS/JS conflicts or layout breaks

### 3. Reporting & Communication

- Deliver a **structured QA report** including:
- List of issues categorized by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low)
- Clear description of each issue with:
- Page URL
- Expected behavior (based on Figma)
- Actual behavior (with screenshots or short screen recordings)
- Suggested fix or notes for the developer
- Summary of overall UI fidelity (% match to Figma, key gaps)
- Optional: A short **Loom/video walkthrough** highlighting major issues.
- One round of **re-check** after the developer addresses critical/high issues.

## Deliverables

1. **QA Audit Report** (Google Doc or PDF) with:
- UI vs Figma comparison
- WordPress implementation review

## Required Skills & Experience

- **5+ years** of hands-on experience with **WordPress** (custom themes, page builders, ACF).
- Strong experience in **QA/testing WordPress sites**, especially:
- Figma → WordPress implementations
- Elementor Pro / Gutenberg / ACF-based builds
- Solid understanding of:
- Responsive design principles and breakpoints
- Cross-browser compatibility
- Basic performance optimization (images, caching, Core Web Vitals)
- Basic SEO best practices for content sites
- Ability to read and interpret **Figma files** in Dev Mode:
- Inspect spacing, colors, typography, components
- Understand design tokens and component variants
- Excellent written communication in English; ability to write clear, structured QA reports.
- Experience working with **B2B or product showcase websites** is a plus.
- Familiarity with **interior design, acoustics, or building materials** websites is a bonus but not mandatory.
