My WordPress site is still running on an outdated PHP build and my host is pressing me to move up to a current, supported release. I’m looking for someone who can log in to the server, flip the site to the latest stable PHP (8.x or whatever you recommend), and make sure the front-end and wp-admin both load without any fatal errors.
Scope is intentionally narrow: the job stops at changing the PHP version itself. Core, theme, or plugin updates and in-depth compatibility debugging are not required; I only need the version switched and a quick confirmation that the site still works.
Deliverables
• Production site running on the new PHP version
• Screenshot (phpinfo() or WordPress Site Health) proving the upgrade
• Brief note confirming a basic smoke test passed
I’ll supply control-panel or SSH access as soon as we start.
