We are looking for an experienced WordPress/PHP developer to build a custom electricity and gas comparison system for our website.

Project Overview

Customers will upload their electricity or gas bill as a PDF. The system will automatically read the bill, extract key information, compare it against energy plans stored in our database, and recommend the cheapest or best-value plans.

The system should be built as a custom WordPress plugin.

- Peak / shoulder / off-peak usage
- Controlled load
- Solar export
- Supply charge
- Usage rates
- Solar feed-in tariff
- Demand charges
- Total bill amount

If the AI cannot identify a value confidently, it should not guess. The customer should be able to review and edit the extracted information before comparison.

Electricity Comparison

The calculator should support:

- Single-rate tariffs
- Time-of-use
- Peak, shoulder and off-peak
- Controlled load
- Solar feed-in tariffs
- Demand charges
- Daily supply charge
- Discounts
- Credits
- Fees

The AI should only extract bill information. The actual price comparison must use a proper mathematical calculation engine.

Show plans ranked from cheapest to most expensive.

Preferably integrate with HubSpot CRM so customer details and comparison results can automatically create or update a lead.

This can be completed as a later milestone if required.
