Our WordPress site, earlyspanishreading.com, already has a payment gateway routing funds to our bank, yet customers still don’t see a storefront. I need you to build that front-end shopping cart so visitors can:
• Buy our printed literacy materials
• Start, renew, or upgrade subscriptions to the H5P-powered LMS
Key capabilities I expect from the cart:
• Clean product catalogue with search and filters so parents and schools can quickly locate titles or plans
• Customer reviews on product pages to boost trust
• Robust discount engine: promo codes, automatic early-bird pricing, and seasonal offers
• Marketing extras we rely on:
– One-click short-term free trials for the LMS
– Automatic delivery of a bonus PDF to qualifying subscribers
– Default LMS plan at $30/month, adjustable discounts for early sign-ups
Everything should work seamlessly with the “back-door” gateway that’s already live, handle recurring billing, and send the usual emails and receipts. WooCommerce or another well-supported WordPress solution is fine as long as the feature set above is covered without heavy custom code that will become brittle later.
Once the store is functioning smoothly, I’d like to move straight into a follow-on project: improving the H5P lessons themselves (new interactions, better navigation, small UI tweaks). If you’re comfortable with H5P, let me know so we can plan phase two, but please keep the e-commerce roll-out in focus first.
Deliverable for this engagement: a fully tested, production-ready cart and checkout flow that includes the promotional mechanisms described above and is live on SiteGround hosting.
First shopping cart item is the Alphabet Tray show in images.
