WooCommerce Redesign & Data Migration

My current online store has been running on a nine-year-old build, and the design as well as the underlying code are clearly showing their age. I want to start fresh on WordPress with WooCommerce, migrating every product, order record, customer account and any other historical data so that nothing is lost when we switch over.
Design & UX
• The new storefront needs to feel colourful and vibrant while still looking clean and organised. Think bold accents, generous white space and easy-to-scan layouts.
• Full responsiveness is non-negotiable; the shop must perform just as smoothly on mobile as on desktop.
Core functionality
• A built-in customer reviews and ratings system has to be active from day one, displayed on product pages and feeding into rich-snippet markup for SEO.
• Standard WooCommerce features (coupons, variable products, stock control, payment gateways, shipping rules) should all be configured and tested.
Migration scope
Products, categories, images, attributes, customer profiles, order history, discount codes and any existing review data must transfer over accurately. Downtime needs to be kept to a minimum, so staging and a clear cut-over plan are essential.
Deliverables
1. Custom WordPress theme or child theme matching the visual brief
2. Fully configured WooCommerce store with customer reviews integrated
3. Complete data migration from the current site, verified in staging before launch
4. Speed, security and SEO basics (caching, image optimisation, schema, SSL) in place
5. Post-launch support window for bug fixes and final tweaks
Acceptance criteria
• All legacy data visible and searchable on the new site
• Pages score 90+ on Google Lighthouse mobile performance test
• No critical errors in Search Console after migration
• Customers can place an order and leave a review without issues
Let me know if additional features—such as advanced product filters or enhanced search—can be slotted in without delaying launch, but the items above define the minimum go-live scope.
