We are looking for an experienced WordPress/WooCommerce designer and developer to build a modern, highly customized e-commerce website for a new consumer pillow brand.
We already have a clear direction for the brand and website design. We are NOT looking for someone to simply install and modify an existing WordPress template. We want a custom-designed site with a clean, modern and premium feel.
The website will initially have a relatively small number of products, but the shopping experience needs to be professional and easy to use.
Project Requirements:
Custom WordPress website design
WooCommerce setup and configuration
Custom homepage and product page layouts
Modern shopping cart experience similar to Shopify
Clean and simple checkout process
Credit card payment integration
Apple Pay / Google Pay if possible
Mobile responsive design
Shipping configuration for Canada
Basic tax configuration
Customer order confirmation emails
Contact and About pages
Fast page loading and good performance
Basic SEO setup
Easy for us to update products, pricing and content ourselves
Website security and backup setup
We will provide branding, product information, images and direction on the overall look and feel.
IMPORTANT: Please provide links to 3 WordPress/WooCommerce e-commerce websites that you personally designed or developed. We are particularly interested in seeing sites with customized product pages, carts and checkout experiences.
Please also explain what parts of the websites you personally worked on.
We are looking for someone who has both strong design skills and strong WooCommerce development experience.
