I’m taking a new women’s dress design from idea to sample stage and need a skilled pattern maker to turn my sketch and measurements into a production-ready pattern. The task is exclusively clothing-focused—specifically a women’s dress—so deep familiarity with fit, grading, and construction for that category is essential.
Here’s the flow: once I hand over my sketch, inspiration photos, tech pack, target measurements, you’ll draft an accurate block, add seam allowances and notches, then grade it across the size range we agree on. A clean digital hand-off matters; PDF, DXF, or layered Illustrator files all work, as long as everything is labeled, tiled (A0/A4), and print-ready. If you prefer Optitex, Gerber, or Clo3D, feel free—just export to a common format for my local printer.
Deliverables
• Final sample for the women’s dress (base size + graded sizes)
• One round of tweaks after I test-print the first pattern
Send through any examples of previous women’s dress patterns you’ve completed; seeing your annotation style and grading logic will speed up the collaboration. Excited to get this pattern on the cutting table quickly, so let’s start as soon as you’re ready.
