I’m producing a documentary that immerses viewers in the daily lives of wild animals within their own habitats, with a particular emphasis on authentic coverage of mating rituals.
The goal is to capture cinematic, true-to-life scenes that feel as though the audience has been transported into the wild. I need high-resolution video (4K preferred) shot in natural light, supported by clean location sound so that subtle calls, rustles, and environmental ambience come through clearly.
Because this is for a full-length documentary, continuity and biological accuracy are critical. Please work ethically—no staged interactions or captive specimens. If you already have existing footage that meets these guidelines, I’m open to reviewing it; otherwise, fresh field shoots are welcome.
Deliverables
• 4K master files of all usable shots
• A concise shot log noting species, location, and time of day
• Rough-cut sequence (optional but appreciated) featuring the highlight mating-ritual moments
Acceptance criteria: footage must be steady, well-exposed, color-accurate, and clearly depict wild animals behaving naturally in situ, with mating behavior captured in at least three distinct species.
Let me know what regions or species you can realistically cover and your anticipated timeline so we can coordinate schedules and permits if required.
