I’m putting together a set of patient-facing materials that encourage preventive care and I need help turning solid medical research into engaging, photo-based assets. The core of the job is writing easy-to-understand copy that is medically accurate, then pairing that copy with strong visuals created in Canva and, ultimately, arranging everything in a polished PowerPoint deck.
Here is how I see the workflow:
• Research the current evidence and guidelines on preventive care, cite authoritative sources, and translate the findings into clear, motivating language suitable for patients.
• Design each piece as a photo format asset in Canva—high-resolution images that combine concise text overlays, icons, and supportive photography.
• Compile the final series into a cohesive PowerPoint presentation so a clinician can walk patients through the information slide by slide.
• Provide editable Canva links and the PPT file, along with a reference list in AMA style.
Accuracy, readability at roughly a 6th-grade level, and visual appeal are the priorities. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk timeline and any questions you have about scope.
