BULLETIN 2 — PROTOTYPE WELDER / STEEL FRAME FABRICATOR (Paid Limited Engagement)
Title: Paid Prototype Welder / Metal Fabricator — Steel Frame Feasibility (Adult Powered Recliner Concept)
ReclineABear LLC (California) is preparing a professionally engineered prototype program for an adult-oriented powered upholstered recliner. We are looking for an experienced welder / metal fabricator for a limited, paid early-stage feasibility and prototype-fabrication engagement.
The work focuses on steel-frame and fixture concepts after a qualified mechanical engineer defines or approves applicable drawings, loads, joint requirements, tolerances, and build plan.
We are NOT asking you to design safety-critical mechanisms or certify a consumer product. We need practical fabrication input on:
- Frame feasibility and manufacturability
- Weld-joint access and fixture needs
- Material sourcing and estimate structure
- Prototype fabrication capability with full build records
Required reply info:
1. Legal business name, location, primary contact
2. Examples of comparable steel frame, furniture, fixture, mobility, or prototype work
3. In-house processes (MIG, TIG, stick, cutting, bending, tube, fixture, finishing)
4. Shop capabilities, insurance, lead time
5. Hourly / shop rate, minimum job charge, material quoting method
6. Confirmation you can work under NDA and provide build records, photos, material info, and written change log
Process (non-negotiable):
1. Intro reply (this post)
2. Capability review
3. Signed mutual NDA
4. Services/IP agreement + paid SOW
5. Limited drawing release
6. Written quote approval by both founders
7. Safety checklist before any hot work
8. Full documentation
No confidential drawings or patent-related information will be shared before a signed NDA. No work, material orders, or public use of the ReclineABear name without both founders’ written approval.
