Weekly Excel Payroll Support

Each week I update payroll entirely in Microsoft Excel, and I need a detail-oriented partner to keep everything accurate and on schedule. Your role covers three core tasks: entering payroll data, maintaining employee records, and processing submitted timesheets before the weekly cut-off.

Because everything feeds directly into our Excel-based templates, you should be comfortable with formulas, filters, and basic error-checking techniques. A working knowledge of payroll concepts—gross vs. net, deductions, hour classifications—will help you spot anomalies before they reach my review. Clear, timely communication is also essential so that any discrepancies are resolved long before pay day.

Deliverables each week
• Fully updated payroll spreadsheet with validated entries
• Cleaned and organized employee record tab reflecting any new hires or changes
• Imported and balanced timesheets, flagged if overtime or missing punches appear
• A brief summary report highlighting exceptions or items needing my decision
