We are looking for a 3D apparel freelancer experienced with CLO 3D, Marvelous Designer, Blender, UV mapping, and GLB/glTF export.

The initial project is a short-sleeve crewneck jersey built from five production pattern pieces:

* Front
* Back
* Left sleeve
* Right sleeve
* Collar

We will provide the actual production pattern pieces used to manufacture the garment.

Project Goal

Create an accurate, realistic, web-optimized `.glb` model for use in a browser-based apparel configurator using Three.js / React Three Fiber / SketchFab.

This should be created from the supplied production patterns, not modeled as a generic jersey by eye.

Critical Texture / UV Requirement

Our system already produces five separate decorated PNG files for each design:
- front.png
- back.png
- left-sleeve.png
- right-sleeve.png
- collar.png

Each PNG:

- Has the same shape and proportions as its original production pattern piece.
- Has transparency outside the physical pattern-piece boundary.
- Contains the finished decoration/artwork for that panel.

The GLB must allow these five PNGs to map directly onto the corresponding garment pieces.

Preferred GLB mesh structure:

JERSEY_ROOT
├── FRONT
├── BACK
├── LEFT_SLEEVE
├── RIGHT_SLEEVE
└── COLLAR

Each mesh should have UV coordinates corresponding directly to its supplied production pattern.

For example:

Please do not use an arbitrary automatic UV unwrap that loses the relationship to the original production pattern.

The PNG should not need to be manually rotated, stretched, repositioned, or adjusted after the GLB is created.

Preferred Workflow

Something similar to:

Mesh Optimization

UV Validation

GLB Export

We want a clean product-preview appearance with realistic garment shape and subtle folds, not excessive cloth wrinkles.

Web Optimization

The final model must be suitable for real-time browser rendering.

Please:

- Optimize polygon count.
- Remove unnecessary geometry.
- Maintain good detail around the neckline, collar, shoulders, sleeves, armholes, and garment silhouette.
- Use clean normals and shading.
- Use standard glTF-compatible materials.
- Avoid permanent logos or artwork baked into the model.

Optional fabric normal and roughness maps are welcome.

Required Deliverables

1. Final optimized `.glb`.
2. Blender `.blend` source file.
3. CLO 3D or Marvelous Designer source file, if used.
4. UV layout/template documentation.
5. Any normal or roughness maps used.
6. Screenshots of front, back, side, UV, and wireframe views.
7. Test showing supplied PNG textures applied correctly to all five garment pieces.

The final GLB should be tested in a browser-compatible viewer.

We will provide:

- Front pattern
- Back pattern
- Left sleeve pattern
- Right sleeve pattern
- Collar pattern
- Reference photos if available
- Seam/stitch information
- Example decorated PNG files for testing

Pattern files may be supplied as AI, PDF, or similar production/vector formats.
We are especially interested in freelancers with experience in:

- CLO 3D
- Marvelous Designer
- Blender
- Apparel production patterns
- Sports uniforms
- Sublimation apparel
- UV mapping from garment patterns
- GLB/glTF
- Three.js
- Web-based 3D product configurators

Experience building garments from actual sewing or production patterns is strongly preferred.

When applying, please include:

- Examples of apparel models you have created from production patterns.
- Examples of GLB/glTF clothing models.
- Examples of garment UV layouts.
- Your proposed workflow.
- Which software you would use.
- How you would preserve the supplied production pattern shapes in the UV mapping.
- Confirmation that you understand we will apply five separate PNG textures at runtime.
- Recommended triangle count and approximate final GLB size.
- Whether source files will be included.
- Estimated cost and turnaround.

Please specifically address the UV mapping requirement in your proposal.

This first jersey will serve as a proof of concept. If successful, we expect additional work for other garment types such as baseball, softball, football, basketball, soccer, hoodies, shorts, pants, and other custom sublimated apparel.
