We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our organisation and help us create meaningful, informative, and impactful video content for our community.

What We're Looking For

We are specifically looking for Brahm!n boys and girls, rooted into their culture, spiritual, who are interested in contributing their creative skills to community-focused projects.

You should be someone who can take raw footage, audio recordings, and a basic script/storyline and transform them into a polished 3–4 minute video that captures attention and creates a strong emotional and informative impact.

We will provide:

- Raw video footage.
- Raw audio/voice recordings.
- Script/content and necessary references.
- Direction and basic creative requirements.

Your job will be to bring everything together creatively.

Your Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

- Edit raw footage into engaging 3–4 minute videos
- Synchronise voiceovers/audio with visuals
- Select the most impactful clips from the provided footage
- Add appropriate transitions, text, captions, and graphics
- Use music and sound effects where appropriate
- Maintain good pacing and storytelling
- Create an engaging opening/hook
- Highlight important messages through visual storytelling
- Ensure the final video looks professional and suitable for social media
- Make revisions based on feedback

The goal isn't simply to "join clips together."

We want someone who understands storytelling and knows how to turn ordinary raw footage into a video that makes people stop, watch, understand, and remember the message.

The Ideal Editor

You would be a great fit if you:

- Have strong experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar tools
- Understand short-form/social-media video editing
- Have a good sense of timing, pacing, music, and visual composition
- Know how to create strong hooks and engaging sequences
- Can work independently from raw footage
- Have an eye for detail
- Understand how emotions and storytelling can be conveyed through editing
- Are open to feedback and revisions

Type of Content

Our videos may cover community, culture, heritage, education, history, social awareness, interviews, and other subjects relevant to our organisation and audience.

We are looking for an editor who can help us build a consistent visual identity and storytelling style across our content.

Project & Long-Term Opportunity

This initial project can serve as a trial project.

If we find the right creative person, there is potential for regular/long-term work, as we plan to produce multiple videos and build a consistent content pipeline.
