I have roughly 40 hours of War Dogs livestream footage that I’d like distilled into a single, easy-to-watch highlight video of a little over 30 minutes. The end product should feel chill, funny, and fun—more like you’re hanging out during a laid-back gaming session than watching a super-fast montage.
What I’ll Supply
* Timestamps for the best moments, kills, and quirky interactions that I’d like included. However, you’ll still be using other footage where needed to maintain smooth gameplay and storytelling.
* Short voice-over clips to open sections and give the video some personality.
* Licensed background tracks so we can avoid copyright claims.
* For the livestream footage, instead of me uploading the files to the cloud for you to download, I’d suggest downloading the livestreams directly from YouTube. This will save time for both of us, and I have a commercial tool that allows to download footage directly from YouTube with full quality and no bandwidth limitation.
What I Need From You
* A smooth gameplay edit that follows the story of what’s happening in the matches while incorporating the key moments I’ve provided, without making the video feel disjointed.
* Seamless integration of the voice-over snippets—think quick intro stingers before a gameplay segment.
* Fun pacing with occasional subtle gags, reaction zooms, or similar effects when they fit naturally, but nothing too over-the-top.
Requests
* Keep the editing natural and focused on making the video enjoyable to watch.
* Avoid excessive effects, transitions, or meme-style editing unless they genuinely fit the moment.
* Maintain good pacing throughout the video so it doesn’t feel dragged out.
* DaVinci Resolve if possible as I will be needing project files\
Deliverables
* One finished 2K video, approximately 30+ minutes long.
* Project files for the complete edit.
Timeline
There’s no rush. Taking up to a week is completely fine as long as the final cut feels polished and well put together.
