Virtual Assistant - Sourcing - Paid Per Quote + Negotiation Bonus

About us
We're a growing UK property management company. We regularly need parts, materials and contractors sourced at the best price. We're building a pool of reliable VAs to help with this on a flexible, ad-hoc basis.

How it works

-You will be part of our sourcing group.
-When we need something sourced, we post the request. The first VA to reply "mine" gets the job.
-You do the sourcing, log everything in our shared sheet, and get paid weekly by bank transfer.
-There are no fixed shifts and no minimum. You work on the jobs you want, when you're available.

Hours
Fully flexible, part-time and ad-hoc. Requests mostly arrive during UK business hours (about 8am-6pm UK time). Fast responses get you more jobs.

What you'll do

-Compare prices for single parts, and full lists of parts, on price and delivery time
-Find UK suppliers and get quotes by email (large orders can involve 50+ suppliers)
-Source from China/Alibaba, and find makers for custom or hard-to-find parts
-Get estimates from contractors (painters, waste removal etc.) via WhatsApp and platforms like RatedPeople and MyBuilder
-Negotiate. When one supplier quotes lower, ask others to match or beat it. You earn a bonus based on how much you can save.

You must have

-A reliable UK VPN, so you see UK Google Shopping results and UK prices
-Amazon UK and eBay UK accounts (free), and the ability to check what's available with Amazon Prime (we have it)
-Reliable internet and a laptop or PC, and good written English
-Attention to detail (right spec, right part) and the ability to follow instructions exactly

Pay (USD, weekly)

-Single item under £20: $0.50. £20 and over: $1.00
-Basket check: $0.50 per item, max $1.50
-Split basket: $0.50 per item (under £20) or $1.00 per item (£20+), counted per different item
-Supplier quotes: $0.50 per valid written quote, up to 20 quotes per job
-Contractor estimates: $0.30 per valid estimate, up to 50 per job
-Negotiation bonus: 10% of the money you save us, up to $20 per job, paid whenever we order at your negotiated price. This includes smart splitting of orders across suppliers.

Examples

-Get 20 supplier quotes on a roofing materials order: $10, plus a bonus if you negotiate it down
-Get 50 estimates from painters: $15, plus a bonus if you negotiate it down
-Confirm the cheapest supplier for a 10-item plumbing list: $1.50

Estimated earnings
-Active VAs can expect around $100-400+ per month at our current volume. There is no monthly cap. The more jobs you claim, the more quotes you collect and the more you negotiate, the more you earn, and we're growing, so volume is increasing.

1. What is your experience with sourcing and price comparison?
2. Example. How would you get us the best price on a waste removal job for 1 tonne of hard rubble?
3. How good at you at multi-tasking and keeping multiple conversations with multiple parties at once?
4. How soon as you ready to start sourcing for us, and what's your availability currently like during our working hours?
5. Please confirm you understand the incentive structure and that this fully flexible, part-time and ad-hoc.
