We are looking for a creative, socially active, and trend-savvy intern to support the content research and idea generation for a growing YouTube channel.

The main objective of this project is to identify trending, viral, entertaining, and relevant content from platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and other social media platforms that can be used as inspiration for reaction and commentary-based videos.

The intern will be responsible for regularly browsing social media and keeping track of what is currently gaining attention. This includes finding trending reels, viral videos, memes, challenges, controversial or interesting topics, popular creators, new trends, and other content that could potentially work well for reaction videos.

The intern will send relevant reels and content suggestions to the creator, along with a short explanation of why they think the content could be interesting to react to. The goal is not simply to send random viral videos, but to identify content that has a strong possibility of generating an entertaining reaction, discussion, or conversation with the audience.

Along with content research, the intern will also contribute original YouTube video ideas. They will be encouraged to think about what topics, formats, trends, challenges, or reaction concepts could be adapted into engaging YouTube content.

The ideal candidate should naturally spend time on social media, understand what makes content go viral, and have a good sense of humour and current internet culture. They should be curious enough to discover trends early and creative enough to suggest how those trends could be turned into interesting YouTube content.

Key Areas of the Project
Finding trending Instagram reels and YouTube videos suitable for reaction content.
Monitoring viral memes, topics, challenges, sounds, creators, and internet trends.
Sending a regular selection of interesting content to the creator.
Explaining why a particular reel or topic could make a good reaction video.
Suggesting creative angles, jokes, discussion points, or formats for reactions.
Brainstorming original YouTube video concepts.
Keeping track of emerging trends before they become outdated.
Researching topics that are currently receiving high engagement.
Studying successful content and identifying patterns that could inspire new videos.
Helping build a consistent pipeline of fresh content ideas for the YouTube channel.
What We Expect

The intern should be someone who is genuinely active on social media and enjoys discovering new content. You should be comfortable spending time on Instagram and YouTube, exploring different types of content, and identifying what is currently trending.

You don't need to be an experienced content creator or video editor. What matters more is your ability to spot interesting content, understand trends, think creatively, and communicate good ideas.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys social media, follows internet culture closely, watches a lot of reels/videos, and wants to understand how viral content can be transformed into engaging YouTube content.

Ideal Candidate

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

Are highly active on Instagram, YouTube, or similar platforms.
Regularly watch and discover trending reels and viral content.
Have a strong understanding of current social media trends.
Have a good sense of humour and what makes content entertaining.
Can identify content that has reaction or discussion potential.
Can come up with creative and unconventional video ideas.
Are curious about why certain videos become viral.
Can communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
Are consistent and responsive.
Are willing to experiment with different content formats.
