Realistic Gothic Game Art

I am looking for a talented 2D Game Artist / Illustrator to create highly immersive, realistic, and scary gothic backdrops for a digital murder mystery game. The goal is to make players feel like they are physically investigating a dark, atmospheric town.
What is Required:
• Team player, highly motivated & passionate professional individual.
• Asset Specs: 1920x1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio.
• Technical Setup: Deliveries must be layered files. Backgrounds must be clean, and all interactive elements (clues, doors, inspectable objects) must be on separate, transparent layers for our developer to program.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Has a portfolio showcasing realistic horror, thriller, or dark gothic art (cinematic lighting, realistic textures).
• Understands game asset pipelines and asset cutting.
• Can work efficiently with a quick turnaround.
This app is the first part of a planned trilogy. For the right partner who communicates reliably and delivers great work, there is a guaranteed pipeline for the next two apps in the series.

Please note: The total scope of this project involves 40 characters, 8 multi-layered rooms with search states, and story illustrations. We will be executing and funding this project strictly in smaller, sequential milestones. We will kick off with Milestone 1 (Splash, Home, and Loading screens) as a paid test of our working relationship. Future milestones will be funded sequentially as assets are approved.
