We are looking for a creative and reliable video editor to produce engaging organic content for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
We will provide new raw footage each week, mainly featuring Capoeira training, performances, events, and community moments. Your role will be to transform this footage into polished, energetic short-form videos that feel natural to each platform.
Responsibilities:
* Edit vertical videos for Instagram Reels and TikTok
* Identify the strongest moments from the supplied footage
* Create engaging openings and maintain a fast, natural pace
* Add captions, text overlays, transitions, effects, and colour correction where appropriate
* Stay up to date with current editing styles, trends, and content formats
* Select suitable trending audio that is licensed and permitted for commercial use on TikTok and Meta
* Create separate platform versions when the same audio cannot legally be used on both platforms
* Keep the editing authentic and organic, without making the videos feel like traditional advertisements
* Deliver completed videos consistently each week
* Make reasonable revisions based on feedback
We are looking for someone who:
* Has proven experience editing successful Reels and TikTok videos
* Understands retention, hooks, pacing, storytelling, and current social media trends
* Knows how to check whether music and audio are permitted for commercial or business use
* Can work independently and suggest creative ideas based on the footage
* Communicates clearly and meets deadlines
* Is interested in developing an ongoing working relationship
