I have a clear brief for a single-level apartment that fits inside a 55' × 75' floor plate.
Id like 2 complete layout plan options drafted in a traditional architectural style -- single floor plate or 2 half floor plates, duplex style.
Site orientation & access
• The lift-and-stair lobby must split into two doors: a service entrance that feeds straight into the seperately lockable servant room/toilet and utility; leading to store and kitchen; and also the main entrance (facing south) to the apartment via a foyer before entering the rest of the home.
Key spaces to include
• Large living hall that flows into an open, flexible entertainment zone, plus a dining area positioned beside the kitchen.
• A balcony/sit-out connected directly to the living room.
• Master suite fixed in the south-west corner with: sleeping zone, walk-in wardrobe, generous bath, a cosy TV sitting nook with an attached WC.
• Three additional bedrooms, each with walk-in wardrobes and en-suite baths.
• Toilets must not occupy any of the four plot corners.
• Puja room accessible from either the west or east side.
• Small office/study if space allows without compromising the above.
Deliverables
1. Scaled floor plan (PDF + editable CAD) showing walls, openings, furniture layout and plumbing points.
2. Door/window schedule and basic room dimensions.
3. At least one refinement round after feedback.
Please keep the circulation logical, respect the orientation rules, and blend the spaces so they still read as traditionally planned while feeling open and family-friendly. If you’ve done similar residential work, share a sample with your proposal so I can see how you resolve service vs. formal zones.
