I am looking to hire video editor located in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh.
Video Edit Screening: Requirements
Overview: You film two short videos yourself and answer 10 questions. The assessment checks whether you can shoot usable raw footage and make clear edits.
Do not show your face in video.
Video 1: Raw footage
At least 1 minute 30 seconds long (not 1 hour 30 minutes). Shorter clips fail.
One continuous shot, with no stopping and restarting.
Filmed vertically (9:16), with the phone held upright.
Clear audio.
No edits of any kind: no cuts, captions, transitions, music, filters, or slow motion.
Must be filmed by you for this assessment. Footage from anywhere else isn't allowed.
Video 2: Edited
Can be an edited version of Video 1 or a different video you filmed.
Must show clear edits, such as trimming, cuts, or captions.
In the box provided, describe what you changed.
Category: Choose the one your video fits:
Talking Head, Travel Vlog, Product Demo, Physical Tutorial, Family, Pet, Show How, Audio Sync, Narrative Skit, or Montage.
Category rules:
Pet: Your own cat or dog only, playing or doing tricks. No wildlife.
Family: Get permission from everyone who appears on camera.
Tips for passing:
Film in good light with little background noise.
Aim for 1:45–2:00 so you're safely over the minimum.
Upload Video 1 straight from your camera roll, untouched.
At last, explain what you edited in video and why.
This is trial task and it can lead full time long term video editing job if all good. So please do yourself to get full time job.
