Verbatim Handwritten Letter Transcription

I have a small collection of handwritten letters that I need transcribed word-for-word. The handwriting is mostly clear, so the main challenge is accuracy rather than deciphering difficult script. Please keep every original spelling choice—correct or not—along with all punctuation and line breaks exactly as they appear on the page. I am not worried about reproducing the visual layout or marginal notes; the priority is a faithful, line-for-line rendering of the text itself.

Deliverables
• One editable document (Word or plain text) containing the full transcription with matching line breaks.
• A brief note flagging any word you were genuinely unable to read, marked with “[illegible]” in the text.

Acceptance criteria
• Zero intentional spelling or punctuation changes.
• Each original line begins on a new line in the transcript.
• No added formatting beyond standard paragraph breaks.
