Freelance Developer Needed to Finish Existing Marketplace App — Velza

I’m looking for an experienced developer to help finish and prepare an existing web app called Velza for launch.

Velza is an Australian marketplace connecting customers with tradies and service providers. The core app, design direction and business model have already been developed. I am not looking for someone to start again from scratch — I need someone who can review the existing codebase, understand how the platform works, finish the remaining functionality, fix any issues, test everything properly and get it production-ready.

The app currently uses a modern React/TypeScript-based stack with Supabase/database integration and is being prepared for production deployment.

The main areas that need to be completed or reviewed include:

• Customer and tradie registration/login • Customer and tradie onboarding • Job posting flow • Service and trade category selection • Matching jobs to the correct tradies based on services, categories and location • Lead purchasing/access system • Subscription and payment functionality • Tradie profiles • Customer and tradie ratings/reviews • Licence and insurance verification • Job status and booking flows • Notifications • Dashboard functionality • Admin controls • Supabase/database integration • Database permissions and security • Mobile and desktop responsiveness • Removal of any remaining demo/mock functionality • Bug fixing • End-to-end testing • Production deployment • General launch preparation

The platform already has a clear feature set and design direction. I will provide detailed information explaining exactly how Velza should operate, so the job is primarily about execution, completion and technical quality rather than creating the product concept.

I am looking for someone experienced with:

• React • TypeScript • Supabase • PostgreSQL • APIs • Authentication • Payment integrations such as Stripe • Vercel or similar deployment platforms • Marketplace/platform development

Experience building two-sided marketplaces similar to Airtasker, hipages, ServiceSeeking, Upwork or similar platforms would be highly regarded.

Important:

I do not want the entire platform rebuilt unless there is a genuine technical reason.

The successful developer should first review the existing project and provide:

An assessment of the current build What is already working What still needs to be completed Any bugs or security issues identified A clear plan to reach production An estimated fixed price or milestone-based cost

I want someone who communicates well, writes clean code and can actually finish projects.

The goal is simple:

Take the existing Velza platform from its current state to a stable, polished, secure and launch-ready product.
