Hi, I’m looking for a designer to create the first drop for my clothing brand ROFOR.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Brand: ROFOR
Tagline: MILES AHEAD
ROFOR is a fashion-inspired performance/streetwear brand built around the idea of progress, ambition, discipline and becoming better than who you were yesterday.
The brand is for people who are constantly moving forward — whether that is in fitness, work, creativity, business, life or personal growth.
The clothing should feel like a representation of that mindset.
IMPORTANT CREATIVE DIRECTION
I DON’T want ROFOR to look like a typical sportswear or gymwear brand.
Please avoid obvious:
* Racing tracks
* Cars
* Racing flags
* Speedometers
* Checkered patterns
* Generic gym graphics
* Dumbbells/barbells
* Typical motivational quotes
* Overused lightning/speed graphics
* Generic streetwear graphics
* Copying Nike/Adidas-style designs
I want something original, intelligent and fashion-forward.
The performance aspect should come from the concept, attitude, typography, construction and visual language, rather than obvious sports symbols.
FIRST DROP
The first collection will be called:
ROFOR — MILES AHEAD
The idea behind “MILES AHEAD” is not literally about running or distance.
It represents being ahead mentally, creatively and personally.
Someone who keeps improving.
Someone who doesn’t wait for motivation.
Someone who chooses progress.
Someone who is always becoming the next version of themselves.
I want the first drop to communicate this feeling without explaining it directly.
DESIGN DIRECTION
I’m looking for a visual identity that feels:
• Premium
• Minimal but distinctive
• Modern
• Confident
• Slightly experimental
• Fashion-forward
• Masculine/unisex
• Timeless rather than trend-dependent
• Strong enough to become recognizable as ROFOR
I’m open to creative approaches such as abstract symbolism, unconventional typography, distorted type, hidden meanings, numbers, symbols, visual codes, negative space, layered graphics or conceptual artwork — but only if they have a reason behind them.
The design should make someone curious about the meaning.
FIRST DROP REQUIREMENT
I’m planning:
2 T-shirt designs
with 2 colourways.
The two designs should feel connected and clearly belong to the same ROFOR collection, but they should not look like the same graphic repeated twice.
One design can be more minimal and iconic.
The second can be more expressive/experimental.
BRANDING
The ROFOR logo should not simply be placed huge on every T-shirt.
I want you to explore how ROFOR can become recognizable through:
* Typography
* Symbols
* Graphic language
* Placement
* Small details
* Repeated visual elements
The goal is to eventually develop a recognizable ROFOR design language, not just individual T-shirt graphics.
COLOUR DIRECTION
My current brand colours are:
Black
Grey
Off-white / Cream
I prefer sophisticated combinations rather than bright/neon colours.
You can suggest additional supporting colours if they improve the collection.
PRODUCT FEEL
The T-shirts should feel like premium oversized/unisex fashion pieces.
Think of the overall feeling as:
Streetwear × Performance mindset × Contemporary fashion
—not traditional gymwear.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU
I would like you to first develop the creative concept and visual direction before jumping directly into the final artwork.
Please provide:
1. Creative concept for DROP 01
2. Explanation of the concept
3. Visual direction/moodboard
4. Typography direction
5. Colour direction
6. Design concepts for 2 T-shirts
7. Front/back placement
8. Print/embroidery recommendations
9. High-quality T-shirt mockups
10. Final production-ready files
11. Editable source files
12. Print-ready files with correct dimensions
13. Font and colour information
Most importantly, I want original work created specifically for ROFOR, not templates or graphics that look like existing streetwear brands.
Before starting, please show me some of your previous work and tell me how you would personally interpret “ROFOR — MILES AHEAD” as a fashion concept.
I’m looking for a designer who can contribute creatively to building the identity of the brand, not just execute instructions.
