About TalentedStaff
TalentedStaff.com is a UK-based governed IT workforce framework, and we are looking for experienced B2B Sales Consultants to help us build our UK client network.

We are not a recruitment agency, CV database or job board, and the professionals available through TalentedStaff are not job seekers.

Behind TalentedStaff are 250+ partner IT businesses employing 40,000+ working IT professionals across multiple technology skills, onshore and offshore.

The supply capability is already established. Our next stage is to build the demand side by introducing the model to UK businesses.

The Fourth Workforce Model

Today, when a business needs technology skills, it generally has three established options:

1. Permanent Staff
Provides ownership and continuity, but comes with permanent employment cost — including when particular skills or capacity are not fully utilised.
2. Contractors
Provides flexibility, but can be expensive, availability can change and continuity is not always guaranteed.
3. Consultancies
Provides access to broader capability, but normally comes with consultancy pricing and often less direct control over the individual resources.

TalentedStaff introduces a fourth model.
A business can identify and reserve named IT professionals in advance around its current and forecasted demand, with continuity built in — and utilise them only when required.

There is no idle cost while the resource is not in use.

Reserve the skills annually → Activate when required → Pay only when utilised → No idle cost when not in use.

The professionals remain employed by our partner IT businesses. They are working professionals, not candidates waiting for jobs.

This gives clients permanent-staff-style access and continuity without permanent employment cost, combined with the flexibility to utilise resources around actual business demand.

That is the TalentedStaff conversation you will be taking to the UK market.

Who We Sell To
Our three primary client groups are:
• Corporate Businesses — organisations with ongoing and forecasted technology skill requirements
• Software Houses / IT Services Businesses — businesses needing access to multiple technology skills around current and future project demand
• Recruitment Agencies — channel partners looking to strengthen the workforce capability behind their existing client relationships
We have developed different positioning and sales material for each audience.

Your Role
Your role is primarily to open the right doors, introduce the model and develop qualified client relationships.
You will:
• Work from a UK target-company database provided by TalentedStaff and your own network
• Identify and approach relevant decision-makers
• Use LinkedIn, email, telephone and your existing relationships to open conversations
• Conduct initial client meetings using our prepared material
• Understand the client's current and forecasted workforce requirements
• Register qualified client accounts and opportunities within our CRM
• Maintain and develop the relationship during the early stages

You are not expected to manage everything yourself.
TalentedStaff will support platform demonstrations, detailed commercial discussions, resource arrangements, onboarding and ongoing account management.

What Makes This Opportunity Different
You are not joining us to sell another recruitment service or compete to fill individual vacancies.
You are introducing businesses to another way of accessing technology skills.
The initial conversation is therefore not:
“Do you have any vacancies we can help you fill?”

It is:
“How are you currently planning and securing the technology skills you know you are likely to need over the next 6–12 months?”
From there, the conversation is about whether those skills could be identified and reserved before the requirement becomes urgent — without the client carrying idle workforce cost.

For an experienced consultative salesperson, this creates a very different conversation with a client.

What We Provide
You will not be expected to create the proposition or sales process yourself.
TalentedStaff provides:
• Qualified UK target-company data
• Audience-specific presentation decks
• Introduction and follow-up content
• Objection-handling material
• Question-and-answer guidance
• CRM access
• Model and sales-process training
• UK support for platform demonstrations
• Support for commercial discussions and client onboarding
Your strength should be opening the right doors, creating credible conversations and building long-term client relationships.

How You Earn
This is a self-employed, commission-only engagement. There is no salary or retainer.
The important difference is that your earning opportunity does not end when you introduce a client.
There are two commission streams running in parallel.
1. Resource Banking Commission
You earn commission when resources are banked/reserved through the clients you develop.
The typical banking fee is £1,500–£2,500 per resource, with commission paid against each individual resource banked — not simply for the client account.
2. Recurring Resource Engagement Commission
You can also earn 7%–10% of TalentedStaff's gross margin from resource usage generated through your accounts.

As clients activate resources and those resources continue to be utilised, this creates the potential for recurring commission from the client relationships you have built.

Full commission terms, payment arrangements and consultant classifications will be explained before engagement.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for experienced sales professionals rather than high-volume appointment setters.
Ideally, you will have 3+ years of B2B sales or business-development experience, particularly within one or more of the following:
• IT services
• Technology consulting
• Recruitment or staffing
• Outsourcing / offshore services
• Enterprise software / SaaS
• Professional services
You should be comfortable:
• Approaching senior UK decision-makers
• Opening conversations from cold
• Conducting online client meetings
• Asking commercially relevant questions
• Understanding a client's workforce challenges
• Explaining a model that may initially be unfamiliar to the prospect
• Maintaining disciplined CRM records and follow-up
An existing network across IT leadership, procurement, workforce/HR leadership, Software Houses or Recruitment Agencies would be particularly valuable.

Who This Will Suit
This opportunity will particularly suit an experienced, self-driven sales professional who understands that building strong B2B accounts takes time, but also sees the value of developing relationships capable of generating both initial and recurring commission.
We are not looking for someone to send hundreds of generic LinkedIn messages.
We want consultants who can understand the model, identify the right person, open a meaningful conversation and help us build long-term UK client relationships.

When Applying
Please keep your application brief and tell us:
1. Your B2B sales/business-development experience
2. Which UK markets you have sold into
3. Whether you have experience in IT services, staffing, outsourcing, consulting or SaaS
4. The types of decision-makers you currently engage with
5. Whether you have an existing UK business network
6. Why a commission + recurring-income opportunity interests you

Please avoid a generic Upwork proposal.

We would rather read a short, relevant introduction explaining your actual sales experience and network than a long standard application.
