I have a stack of well over one hundred printed pages—plain text only—that I need transcribed and laid out into a clean, publication-ready PDF. Every word, line break, and piece of punctuation must match the original pages, but there are no images or graphics to worry about, so your attention can stay on accuracy and neat formatting.

Font style and size are open for discussion. I lean toward a clear, professional look (think a classic serif or a modern sans-serif around 11-12 pt), yet I’m happy to go with whatever you feel best suits long-form reading as long as the final file feels cohesive from start to finish.

My process expectations are simple:
• Proofread as you type so the text is error-free.
• Preserve the original hierarchy—headings, sub-headings, paragraph breaks, italics or bold if they appear.
• Deliver a polished PDF as the primary file; an editable copy (Word, Google Docs, or similar) is a welcome extra but not essential.

If you normally compose in Word or Google Docs before exporting, that’s perfectly fine—just ensure the PDF you hand over is correctly paginated and ready to distribute. Let me know how soon you can comfortably complete the work, and feel free to mention any tools or workflows you prefer that keep accuracy high.
