I’m committing the next eight weeks to sharpening my SQL and Excel skills and I’d like you to steer the process. I already work comfortably at an intermediate level, but I’m still spending far too long turning raw data into clear, compelling visuals. My goal is to leave this programme able to move from question to insight quickly—writing tidy, well-structured SQL queries and translating the results into polished dashboards and charts inside Excel (and, where it makes sense, Power BI).

Here’s how I picture our collaboration:

• A structured learning path that steadily raises the bar each week, mixing short theory explanations with hands-on exercises drawn from real business scenarios.
• Screen-sharing or paired-coding sessions where you watch me work, spot inefficiencies, and suggest best practices on the spot.
• Mini-projects that end with a fully formatted Excel workbook or interactive chart, so I can build a portfolio of visualizations to reference later.
• Quick feedback loops: I send you the files or query snippets, you annotate or record a loom video, and we review live at our next session.

By the end of the two months I should be able to:

1. Craft complex yet readable SQL queries that pull exactly the data I need without unnecessary joins or sub-queries.
2. Shape that data inside Excel—using pivot tables, dynamic arrays, and named ranges—so updates flow straight through to charts.
3. Produce clean, stakeholder-ready visual stories that highlight trends, outliers, and next steps.

If this roadmap feels realistic and you have a knack for teaching through real examples rather than slides, let’s set up our first call and lock in the schedule.
