I’m a first-time user of Freelancer and I’d like to start with something simple: a concise piece of technical writing in the travel space. The goal is to create a clear, well-structured guide that explains one practical aspect of travelling—think along the lines of “how to use an eSIM when landing abroad” or “step-by-step airport self-check-in workflow”.

Scope
• One article, roughly 600–800 words, written in a brisk, instructional tone.
• The content must be factual, easy to follow, and suitable for readers who want actionable information rather than inspirational prose.
• Please reference any statistics, regulations, or product specs you cite. No fluff or sales language.

Acceptance Criteria
• Headings and sub-headings that mirror the process flow.
• Plain-English explanations backed by at least one authoritative source (link or citation).
• Delivery in editable DOCX or Google Doc, free of grammar errors and ready to publish.

I chose Writing → Technical writing with a Travel focus, so experience in travel tech, aviation procedures, or similar niches is ideal. If this compact task goes smoothly, I’ll have a series of similar micro-guides to follow up with.
