Travel Agency CRM Development

The task is to design and build a web-based CRM tailored to the daily workflow of a mid-size travel agency. We will work as a small, two-person engineering pod—one seasoned developer who can own architecture decisions and a junior developer or intern who will handle well-scoped tickets under guidance.

Core build scope
• Leads & contacts module
• Drag-and-drop itinerary builder
• Booking tracker tied to each itinerary
• Lightweight admin dashboard for settings and data housekeeping

Additional functionality required
• Reporting and analytics for sales and marketing performance
• Integration with email/SMS so agents can communicate directly from the CRM
• User role management to separate agent, manager, and admin views

Tech direction
A modern web stack is expected; React or Angular on the front end with a REST or GraphQL API. Feel free to recommend supporting tooling (Redux, Zustand, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, etc.) that will speed delivery without locking us into niche dependencies.

Collaboration style
Version control will live on GitHub with a standard PR workflow. The senior developer will spearhead initial project setup, code review, and deployment pipelines; the junior member will pair on features, write tests, and assist with documentation.

Please focus on relevant experience—previous SaaS or CRM builds, travel industry tools, or complex React/Angular projects. A concise note on your availability (hours per week) and preferred time zone will help us plan sprints effectively.

Acceptance criteria will be defined per milestone, but each feature must ship with unit tests, lint-clean code, and clear README updates so the agency’s in-house team can maintain the product after launch.
