Translate One Piece S1 Subtitles

I have complete subtitle files for One Piece – Season 1 in another language and need them translated into fluent, natural-sounding English while keeping timing intact.

Scope
• 61 episodes (Season 1)
• Source: supplied subtitle files in original language
• Deliverable: one fully proofread, accurately timed .srt (or .ass) file per episode, ready for direct upload

Key Points
• Retain all existing time-codes; adjust only if lines overflow or reading speed is too high.
• Preserve character names, honorifics, and any established terminology from the official English release where possible.
• Ensure line breaks follow common fansub standards (no more than two lines, ~42 characters each).
• Flag cultural references that may need a brief on-screen note; add those notes sparingly.

Tools & Format
Aegisub or Subtitle Edit preferred so the final files stay frame-accurate to the video. Please return everything in UTF-8 encoded .srt unless another format is agreed upon.

Review & Milestones
I’ll review the first two episodes before green-lighting the rest to make sure style and tone match expectations. After that, batches of 10 episodes work best for spot checks and payment releases.

If you’re comfortable with anime dialogue, flexible with jargon like “nakama,” and can turn around quality work on a reasonable schedule, this should be a straightforward project.
