I need a custom trend-based indicator written in Pine Script that can live on any TradingView stock chart and fire clear buy and sell signals. The logic is up to you, as long as it consistently reads the prevailing trend and translates it into on-chart arrows or color changes that traders can act on immediately.
What matters to me is accuracy and ease of use: no repainting, minimal lag, adjustable sensitivity settings, and commentary in the code so I can tweak parameters later. Once the script is finished, I’ll load it into TradingView and expect the signals to display properly on intraday and daily stock time frames.
Deliverables
• Complete, well-commented Pine Script (.pinescript)
• A short read-me explaining the inputs, recommended default values, and how signals are generated
• Quick walkthrough call or written guide so I can verify the indicator compiles and behaves as expected on live stock charts
I’ll consider the job done when the script compiles without errors, plots the trend-based buy/sell markers, and matches the described behavior on several stock symbols.
