Toddler Adventure Picture Book

I am creating a bright, engaging adventure picture book for toddlers aged 2-4. The story should be simple, rhythmic, and read-aloud friendly—around 300–400 words across 10–14 spreads—following an upbeat quest that sparks curiosity without anything frightening. Garden treasure hunts, beach discoveries, or colourful city explorations are all possibilities; I’m happy to refine the premise together as long as it stays firmly in the Adventure theme.

Because toddlers connect through visuals first, each spread must feature colourful and vibrant artwork that pops off the page. Bold palettes, clear shapes, and expressive characters are essential. You may work digitally or traditionally, but the finals should arrive as 300 dpi CMYK files suitable for print.

Deliverables
• Complete English manuscript (title page, story spreads, simple back-matter).
• Rough illustration sketches, then final full-bleed artwork for every spread plus cover.
• Basic layout with text placement, supplied as print-ready PDF and layered source files (InDesign, Affinity, or Canva export).

Acceptance criteria
• Language appropriate for 2-4 year olds, matching preschool readability standards.
• Consistent, original Adventure narrative paired with vivid, harmonious colour work.
• All creative rights transferred to me upon final payment.
