I need a sharp, part-time researcher who can keep me up to date on economic news coming out of Timor-Leste. Your job is simple but critical: track fresh stories on trade, investment, state-owned enterprises, infrastructure, energy, banking, and any other developments that affect the local economy, then send me concise, source-linked summaries in English.

Here’s how it will work
• Monitor print and online outlets in Dili and the provinces, cross-check with government press releases, industry newsletters, and reputable international wires.
• Flag breaking items quickly (within a few hours), and compile a neat end-of-day digest with headline, date, two-sentence rundown, and the original link.
• Keep an eye on data releases—GDP updates, budget statements, central-bank notes—and note anything that moves the market or indicates a policy shift.
• Store everything in a shared Google Sheet so I can sort by sector, theme, or date. Google Alerts, Feedly, or any clipping tool you like is fine as long as the feed stays current and verifiable.

Acceptance criteria
1. Minimum ten unique economic news items per week, no political or cultural fillers.
2. All summaries written in clear, neutral English and traceable to the original Timorese or international source.
3. Spreadsheet always up to date and free of duplicates.

If you have local language skills (Tetum or Portuguese) that’s a plus, but solid English summaries are mandatory. I estimate the workload at roughly one hour a day, Monday–Friday; you can organize the timing as you wish provided alerts and daily digests land on schedule.
