I need a designer who can turn my video ideas into compelling, click-worthy thumbnails that lean heavily on bold, well-composed text. Each thumbnail must quickly summarize the video topic in just a few punchy words and pair that message with an eye-catching stock photo that feels fresh, on-brand, and unmistakably YouTube-ready.
Here’s how I picture the workflow:
• You’ll receive the video title, core theme, and any brand colours or fonts I’m currently using.
• From there, craft one thumbnail concept, gather quick feedback, then deliver the final version in 1280×720 JPG/PNG along with the editable PSD (or layered Canva file) so I can tweak details later if needed.
What matters most is clarity of the text, strong colour contrast, and a layout that still looks sharp on mobile previews. If you think a custom illustration or screenshot might outperform a stock image for a particular video, feel free to propose it—I’m open as long as the design stays text-centric.
Please send a few examples of previous thumbnails that prove you can make text jump off the screen, and mention the tools you prefer (Photoshop, Canva, Figma, etc.). I’m looking to start with a single thumbnail, then move to a steady flow once we nail the style.
