Text Data Entry from Scans

I have a set of scanned documents that need their text accurately transferred into a clean, editable format. The job is straightforward: open each scan, copy the text, and paste it into the destination file I provide, preserving basic paragraph breaks and any simple headings exactly as they appear.

To keep everything consistent, please refer to a small group of supporting online sources—no more than five—to confirm spellings of names or technical terms that are hard to read in the scans. When a word is illegible, mark it clearly so I can review it later; otherwise, accuracy is key and I expect the text to match the original scan character-for-character.

Deliverables:
• A single DOCX file (or Google Doc) containing all transcribed text in the order of the scans
• A brief note citing any online references you used for verification
• An error log if you encounter unreadable sections

I will share the scans and a simple naming convention once we start, and I’ll be available for quick clarifications throughout the task.
