Text Data Cleansing Assistant

I have a steady stream of text-based records that need to be reviewed, standardized, and cleaned before they move into our main database. Your day-to-day focus will be data cleansing—spotting inconsistencies, correcting formatting issues, removing duplicates, and ensuring every entry follows the style guidelines I will provide. We are not working with numbers, only text, so strong language and detail skills matter more than spreadsheet formulas right now.

When you message me, tell me about the similar text-cleanup or data-quality projects you have tackled and the tools you used; I rely on that experience to gauge how quickly you will adapt to my workflow. While the current priority is cleansing, familiarity with data annotation or content transcription could become useful as the project scales.

Deliverables
• A cleaned, well-formatted dataset returned in the agreed file type (usually CSV or Google Sheet)
• A brief change log summarizing edits, rules applied, and any ambiguous items flagged for my review

I will share a small sample first so we can confirm approach and turnaround time before we expand to the full batch.
