I am looking for an experienced Telegram Content Takedown / Trust & Safety specialist who can assist with legitimate removal requests for illegal or policy-violating public Telegram content.
The types of content may include:
- Illegal adult/pornographic content
- Non-consensual intimate content
- Scam and fraudulent activity
- Impersonation and deceptive services
- Copyright-infringing content
- Illegal goods or services
- Other clearly unlawful or policy-violating public Telegram channels, groups, bots, usernames or posts
Responsibilities:
- Review the reported Telegram content and identify the appropriate reporting category.
- Collect and organize relevant URLs, usernames, message links, screenshots and other evidence.
- Prepare accurate and well-supported takedown complaints.
- Submit reports through Telegram's appropriate official reporting channels.
- For copyright matters, work only with the copyright owner or an authorized representative and provide the required ownership/authorization information.
- Follow up on submitted reports where appropriate.
- Maintain a record of submitted reports and their status.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with Telegram reporting, Trust & Safety, content moderation or online takedown procedures.
- Good understanding of copyright/DMCA complaints and online abuse reporting.
- Ability to distinguish legitimate violations from content that does not meet the reporting requirements.
- Strong English writing and documentation skills.
- Must use legitimate reporting channels only.
- No hacking, account takeover, spam reporting, fake claims, impersonation or fraudulent documentation.
Important:
I am looking for someone who can handle the complete legitimate reporting/takedown workflow and provide evidence of submitted complaints and their status. Removal cannot be guaranteed because the final decision is made by Telegram after its review.
