What We’re Looking For
Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Systems Engineer II to join our team! The Systems Engineer II administers, maintains, and supports enterprise information technology infrastructure, including network, server, storage, and data environments. The role monitors system performance, implements infrastructure solutions, supports business continuity and security, and collaborates with technical stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology operations that support organizational objectives.
On a typical day, you might:
Administer enterprise infrastructure, including network, server, storage, and data environments to support reliable technology operations.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to identify issues and recommend improvements.
Implement infrastructure enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes to improve performance, security, and reliability.
Maintain backup, recovery, and business continuity processes to support data availability and disaster recovery objectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, network, storage, and system issues to minimize operational disruption.

Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED and three (3) years of experience in information technology, data analytics, or reporting development with knowledge of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL). Requires certification; OR
Associate's degree and one (1) year of experience in information technology, data analytics, or reporting development with knowledge of relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL). Requires certification; OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
An applicable information technology certification is required when qualifying through a high school diploma, GED, or Associate's degree pathway.
Applicable certification(s) including Microsoft data systems certifications CSTP, ISTQB, ASTQB, MTA, MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, ITIL v3, Power BI, as well as INFORMS, IIBA, AWS, Azure, or equivalent certifications will be accepted.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must reside within North Carolina.
Preferred:
Experience with two (2) or more of the following:
Network Security including firewalls, IDS/IPS
Cloud Computing with Azure, AWS, Google, Private clouds)
Data protection including backup/recovery and replication
Administration of virtual Server environments such as Vmware, HyperV, Acropolis
Email administration
Microsoft Active Directory
Wireless LAN (WIFI)
Project Management
VOIP Systems (Cisco Call Manager, Avaya, 3CX, Shoretel, or others)
Network +, CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, PMP, Vmware, Google, Aws, Azure will be accepted.
