Optimize EC2 & S3 Security Scaling

My stack already lives on AWS and it’s time to tighten things up and make it scale smoothly. The focus is squarely on EC2 and S3.

• EC2 – design and implement an Auto Scaling strategy, wire it to a load balancer, and harden the instances so they meet current security and compliance best practices (IAM roles, security groups, patching, CloudWatch alarms, the works).
• S3 – review existing buckets, lock down access policies, enforce least-privilege IAM, and confirm encryption is applied at rest and in transit.

All changes must be applied through repeatable steps—CloudFormation or Terraform are fine—as long as I can redeploy the same configuration in another account and get identical results. I’ll provide current account diagrams and limited-time credentials for a dev environment; deliverables are the infrastructure code, a brief walkthrough document, and a one-hour hand-off call to confirm everything works as expected.
