Syrian Field Research on Tile Adhesive Market

Field researchers in Syria (2 people): Damascus and Homs. Visit building-material stores and report on tile adhesive prices (3–4 days)

We are running a market study on tile adhesive in Syria and need 2 reliable people on the ground to collect price and product information in stores: one in Damascus and one in Homs.

Position 1: Damascus. 15 building-material stores in Damascus city, in different neighborhoods.
Position 2: Homs. 10 stores in Homs and 5 stores in Hama.

In each store (about 10 minutes):

Ask the seller about the best-selling tile adhesive: brand, class on the bag (C1 / C1T / C2), bag weight, color, country of origin, price for a normal customer, price per bag for a contractor buying 50 bags, the wholesaler who supplies the store, approximate bags sold per month, and whether the store pays its supplier in cash or on credit.
Take 4 photos: store front, bag front, bag back, price.
Send your answers in the project chat using a ready template of 12 short lines (we provide it), with the photos and your location.

Behave like a normal customer. Do not mention our project.

Requirements

Based in Damascus (position 1) or in Homs (position 2)
Motorbike or car
Smartphone, reliable internet
Free for 3–4 days, starting this week
Serious, precise, and quick to reply
Basic English or good Arabic. We use a translator to communicate.

Payment

$80 per person for the full mission, fuel included.
Paid through Freelancer: the amount is deposited before you start and released when the work is approved.

Deliverables: 15 completed templates, each with 4 photos and the location.

Future work: if the work is good, we have additional missions, including phone-based supplier and wholesaler research.
