My Sydney home is ready for a renovation and the top priority is transforming the kitchen. The current galley sits isolated from family activity; I want to explore whether relocating it—or re-working adjoining internal walls—will unlock a truly open-plan kitchen, family and dining zone. The goal is a traditional-style space that still feels fresh, complete with a tucked-away butler’s or messy kitchen housing a second fridge and cooking area, and a direct visual and physical link to the rear terrace.

I will supply the existing 2 D floor plan in jpeg. No external walls may shift, yet internal walls can be moved or removed where it makes structural sense. Alongside the kitchen investigation, I’d like to see smarter placements for Bedrooms 4 & 5 and optional bathroom upgrades, but these must follow the logic of the revised kitchen core.

Deliverables
• Two or three 2 D concept floor plans showing alternative kitchen positions and circulation paths, annotated clearly for wall removals, new openings and service points.
• Each concept to indicate provisional bedroom/bath tweaks that flow from the layout.
• Files returned as both PDF (printable at A3) and DWG.

No 3 D renders, joinery elevations or detailed cabinetry drawings are required at this stage; I need only high-level spatial options so I can decide whether a full redesign is viable.

Please base the work in standard residential drafting software—AutoCAD, Revit, Archicad or similar—so future consultants can pick up the model easily. Accuracy to existing dimensions is important; creative ideas within the given constraints are essential.
