I’m building a premium cotton–lifestyle store on Shopify and I want every scroll, click, image and word to feel like part of a larger narrative—one that shows the inspiration, craftsmanship and sustainability behind our bags, robes, linens and gifts while still letting shoppers check out in just a few taps.
Here’s the core of what I need:
• An uncluttered, warm and editorial layout that balances high-quality images and short looping videos with generous white space.
• Detailed product pages that act as mini-stories, weaving origin, materials and care into the purchase flow.
• Dedicated storytelling blocks on the homepage plus a rolling carousel of customer testimonials to build trust without breaking the minimalist feel.
• Smooth navigation, fast load times and Shopify 2.0 best-practice builds (Liquid, JSON sections, app-free where possible) so the shop stays lightweight.
• Easy content tools in the CMS so my team can update look-books, seasonal edits and blog posts without touching code.
• Responsive design, accessibility checkpoints and basic SEO baked in before launch.
I gravitate to the Dawn or similar 2.0 theme as a base, but I’m open if you have a better starting point that keeps the aesthetic timeless.
When you reply, please:
1. Link to two or three Shopify stores you’ve crafted for lifestyle or fashion brands that highlight storytelling and elevated visuals.
2. Outline your estimated timeline (design, development, QA, launch).
3. Share a ballpark cost with milestone splits so I know when to plan photography drops and copy hand-offs.
I’m ready to move quickly once I find the right fit, so feel free to ask anything you need to scope this properly.
