I have a small batch of STL models—no more than five—that I need turned into clean, watertight STEP files for manufacturing. The geometry must stay exactly as-is; no tweaks or feature edits are required, just a faithful conversion suitable for CNC machining and CAM workflows.
You may use the solid-modeling software you prefer—SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, or an equivalent—but please be sure the resulting STEP files open without errors, preserve original scale and orientation, and meet standard manufacturing tolerances.
Deliverables
• 1-5 STEP (.stp) files, one for each source STL
• Brief confirmation that each file imports into a mainstream CAD package without healing
If you can turn these around quickly while keeping the models pristine, I’d like to get started right away.
