I will hand you a single raw STL mesh captured with a Creality CR-Scan Raptor Pro. The scan represents a composite-built aircraft roughly 3.60 m in wingspan and 2 m in fuselage length and, as you would expect, it contains inevitable gaps in deep, shadowed recesses.
Your task is to turn that mesh into a fully feature-based, native SolidWorks model—not just a knit surface or dumb solid. I need discrete, editable parts:
• fuselage
• left wing
• right wing
• tailplane and fin
Each wing must carry the correct airfoil profile, washout, dihedral and incidence so we can later drop in motor mounts, hatches and internal bulkheads without re-building geometry.
Accuracy requirements
• ±2 mm on all non-aero surfaces
• ±1 degree on twist, dihedral and incidence
Verification
Supply a deviation report that overlays the mesh to the reconstructed model with at least three representative cross-sections.
Deliverables
1. Native SolidWorks files (.sldprt / .sldasm)
2. STEP export of the full assembly
3. Deviation report (PDF or native inspection file)
Schedule
I’ll upload the STL around 27–28 Aug. The effective work window is 31 Aug–4 Sep (UTC+3, Madagascar). A one-week turnaround is critical so I can slot the model straight into the next design phase.
Commercial terms
Fixed-price engagement; milestones can be staged around initial geometry, deviation approval and final file hand-off.
If you are comfortable reverse-engineering from large meshes inside SolidWorks (ScanTo3D, ExactFlat, or your preferred toolkit) and can hit the tolerances above, this should be a straightforward but fast-paced assignment.
