Startup Formalwear Designer Needed

I’m building a new fashion label and need an experienced designer who can create a distinctive line of formal wear that will define the look and feel of the brand from day one. Think sharp tailoring, innovative silhouettes and fabric choices that photograph beautifully yet remain production-friendly for a small but ambitious startup.

You’ll take the concept from mood-board level through to finished tech packs: initial sketches, refined digital flats, fabric and trim suggestions, colour stories, and detailed construction notes that a sample room can follow without guesswork. If pattern-making is also in your wheelhouse, that’s a plus, though it can be a separate step.

To help me choose the right partner, please include examples of past work that show your command of formal or occasion wear—runway pieces, look-books, or behind-the-seams documentation are all welcome. I’m especially interested in garments that balance modern aesthetics with practical considerations like cost-effective grading and manufacturability.
