Squarespace Redesign for Route 66

Scope of work

2. Import existing copy, photos, and media, reorganising content blocks to fit the new structure.
3. Implement brand-appropriate fonts, colour palette, and graphic treatments.
4. Optimise images, compress assets, and add basic SEO fields on all pages.
5. Walk me through the finished build (screen share is fine) and supply a short hand-off guide so my team can manage updates on their own.

Acceptance criteria
• All pages from the architecture document are live, linked correctly, and mobile-responsive.
• Navigation is intuitive, with no dead ends or orphan pages.
• Visual style is consistent site-wide and leverages Squarespace’s built-in design controls for easy future tweaks.
• Site loads in under three seconds on a standard 4G mobile connection (GTmetrix/Pingdom test).
• Handoff guide (PDF or Google Doc) covers editing text, swapping images, adding news posts, and updating navigation.

Additional request: The homepage must include a Hero-sized video that actively engages site visitors.
