PROJECT OVERVIEW

I am looking for a talented, creative and budget-conscious web designer/developer to completely redesign and modernize the website for Moe Bodyworks, an established multidisciplinary healthcare and wellness clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

We have been in practice for more than 20 years and already have an existing website, domain, content, photos, service information and online scheduling.

This is NOT a website being created completely from scratch.

The current website should be reviewed and useful content migrated/reorganized into a much more modern, professional, high-end website.

I want the finished website to look significantly more expensive and professional than the current site while remaining fast, simple and easy for our staff to maintain.

DESIGN STYLE

I want:

* Professional but approachable
* Energetic/athletic health & wellness feel
* Excellent photography and typography
* Strong calls to action
* Excellent mobile design
* Fast loading
* Easy navigation
* Subtle animations where appropriate

I do NOT want a generic medical template.

The website should showcase Dr. Moe and the Moe Bodyworks team and make it extremely easy for visitors to understand our services and schedule an appointment.

IMPORTANT BUDGET / DESIGN STRATEGY

We are a small independent clinic with a limited budget.

I am specifically looking for a talented freelancer who can deliver excellent work at a reasonable fixed price.

We do NOT need 20 individually custom-designed pages.

Instead, create approximately:

* 1 custom homepage
* 1 reusable service-page template
* 1 team/provider template
* 1 podcast/media template
* 1 blog/article template
* Contact/New Patient pages

Then use these templates to create/populate the individual pages.

This is intended to keep development efficient and affordable.

Home – Strong visual homepage introducing Dr. Moe, clinic, major services and BOOK NOW calls to action.

About Dr. Moe – Biography, experience, credentials, philosophy, teaching and athletic background.

Meet the Team – Provider/staff profiles.

New Patients – What to expect, first-visit information, forms/info and scheduling.

Contact/Location – Phone, address, hours, Google Map and contact form.

Book Appointment – Links to our existing scheduling systems.

Create a strong Animal Chiropractic landing page covering dogs, horses/performance animals, older animals, mobility, musculoskeletal problems, injury/recovery and what to expect at an appointment.

Include clear scheduling/new-animal-patient CTAs.

DR. MOE’S PAWCAST

We are launching an animal-health podcast called Dr. Moe’s PAWCAST.

Create a page/template allowing us to easily add:

* Episodes
* Embedded YouTube/video
* Guest bios

Create a page positioning Dr. Moe for corporate/community health presentations, conferences, podcasts and media appearances.

Include a BOOK DR. MOE TO SPEAK inquiry form.

BLOG / RESOURCES

Create an easy-to-manage blog/resource section.

We need to be able to publish future articles ourselves without hiring a developer.

FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Website must be:

* Fully responsive/mobile optimized
* Fast loading
* SEO friendly
* SSL secured
* Easy for nontechnical staff to edit
* Clean and modern
* Compatible with current browsers
* Built on a widely supported CMS

WordPress is acceptable/preferred, but I am open to recommendations.

The site should include:

* Clear BOOK NOW buttons
* Existing scheduling integration/links
* Click-to-call on mobile
* Contact forms with spam protection
* Google Maps
* Social links
* Podcast/video embedding
* Blog
* Basic local SEO
* Analytics/Search Console capability

No custom scheduling software is required. We already have scheduling systems.

SEO / WEBSITE MIGRATION

This is an existing website, so we do NOT want to unnecessarily lose existing Google rankings.

Developer should:

* Review existing URLs
* Preserve important URLs where practical
* Create 301 redirects for changed URLs
* Set page titles/meta descriptions
* Use proper H1/H2 structure
* Optimize images
* Add appropriate alt text
* Create XML sitemap
* Ensure Google indexing
* Set up basic local SEO/schema where appropriate
* Preserve/connect Analytics and Search Console if currently available

CONTENT

Please review MoeBodyworks.com before bidding.

A substantial amount of content already exists.

Developer should migrate useful text/photos and reorganize them within the new design. We will provide updated photos, staff information and additional content when necessary.

Please do NOT assume we will manually recreate and provide every existing page.

OWNERSHIP – VERY IMPORTANT

Upon final payment, Moe Bodyworks must have complete ownership and administrator access to the website.

The domain and primary accounts will remain under our control.

We must receive:

* Full website administrator access
* Website/database/files
* Hosting access as applicable
* Theme/template access
* Plugin information
* Forms
* Analytics/Search Console access/configuration
* Any project-specific design files

Do not build the website on a proprietary system that prevents us from moving it to another developer or hosting provider later.

PAID SOFTWARE

Before using any paid plugin, theme or software, tell us:

1. Cost
2. Whether cost is one-time or recurring
3. Why it is needed

We strongly prefer free/low-cost solutions.

There should be no surprise monthly fees.

PROJECT COMPLETION

Before final payment, developer must test:

* Desktop/mobile/tablet
* Navigation
* Appointment links
* Forms
* Phone/email links
* Podcast/social links
* Page speed
* Redirects/404 errors
* Contact/location information

We would also like a short screen-recorded tutorial showing how to edit text/photos and add blog/podcast content.

MILESTONES

We prefer milestone payments:

15% – Homepage/design direction approved
25% – Templates/navigation completed
30% – Pages/content migrated
20% – Mobile, SEO, testing & revisions
10% – Launch, credentials transferred & final approval

Final payment is released after the website is functioning correctly and administrator access has been provided.
