Looking for a freelance Video Editor to support us with editing 3–4 videos for a brand. The raw footage will be provided; you’ll be responsible for turning it into polished, engaging and platform-ready content.
We’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of modern, social-first video editing — quick cuts, dynamic transitions, engaging effects, text animations and pacing that keeps the viewer hooked.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Edit 3–4 brand videos from raw footage provided by us.
- Create engaging, fast-paced edits suitable for today’s social media landscape.
- Use quick cuts, transitions, motion graphics, zooms, effects, text overlays and other editing techniques where relevant.
- Maintain strong pacing and storytelling throughout the video.
- Add appropriate background music, sound effects and audio enhancements.
- Ensure the final output feels fresh, contemporary and visually engaging, rather than like a traditional corporate edit.
- Deliver videos in formats suitable for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Incorporate feedback and make reasonable revisions to the final edit.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in social media/video content editing.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating your editing style.
- Good understanding of current video editing trends, Reels/short-form content and audience retention.
- Ability to make footage visually engaging through pacing, transitions, effects and storytelling.
- Strong sense of timing, music and visual composition.
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or similar.
- Ability to understand a creative brief and work independently.
- Bonus if you have experience editing brand, marketing, corporate or lifestyle content.
- This is currently a project-based requirement for 3–4 videos, with potential for additional work based on the quality and fit.
Please share your portfolio first. Shortlisted editors will be briefed on the project and provided with the raw footage/details.
