I’m ready to move from sketches to a working, production-ready Grocery Management application that runs smoothly on Android devices and in any modern web browser.
Here is the core scope:
• Users must be able to register, sign in and manage their own data, so please include a secure account system with email/password (social login is a plus but optional).
• The heart of the product is a dynamic shopping-list creator. Items can be added manually or through real-time barcode scanning—on Android via the camera and on web via webcam or manual barcode entry.
• After items are saved, the app should suggest recipes that intelligently use what’s already on hand; a simple rule-based engine is fine to start, as long as the data model keeps the door open for future machine-learning enhancements.
Deliverables I expect:
1. Android APK plus full source (Kotlin or Flutter preferred, but I’m flexible).
2. Responsive web app (React, Vue or similar) deployed to a test URL.
3. Shared backend (cloud-hosted PostgreSQL or Firebase) with well-documented REST or GraphQL API powering accounts, lists, barcodes and recipes.
4. Clear README covering build/run steps and brief video or screenshots showing the key flows.
Acceptance criteria: a new user can sign up, scan or type at least three items, see them on both platforms without refreshing, and receive at least one recipe suggestion that uses two or more scanned items. Once this demo flow is solid we’ll iterate on polish and extra features in later milestones.
