I need a straightforward SIM-based gateway that can automatically send order-confirmation texts the moment a purchase is completed on my e-commerce platform. Cloud SMS providers won’t suit this project—I want the messages to originate from a physical GSM modem or similar device with my own SIM card so customers always see a local number.
Here’s the workflow I am after:
• My store fires a webhook/HTTP call when an order is marked paid.
• Your service picks up that payload, formats the confirmation message, and pushes it through the SIM-based modem.
• Delivery status (sent / failed) is written back to the store’s admin panel or logged to a simple dashboard so I can track each message.
Acceptance criteria
• Plug-and-play integration with my current e-commerce platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, or PrestaShop—the final one can be discussed).
• Reliable queuing so no order confirmation is lost, even if the modem is briefly offline.
• Clear instructions for configuring additional sender SIMs, changing message templates, and exporting delivery logs.
• Tested end-to-end on at least 20 consecutive orders with 100 % delivery success.
If you have prior experience with GSM modems, AT commands, or building lightweight SMS gateways in Node.js, Python, or PHP, that will help us move fast.
Let me know the hardware you recommend, any open-source libraries you prefer, and how soon you can run a pilot on my store.
